Arab Astronomical Society (ArAS)  

The Arab Astronomical Society (ArAS) was officially formed during the constitutional assembly held in Marrakech, Morocco on November 30, 2016, and legally recognized on May 2017.

The objectives of the society are the promotion and advancement of Astronomy and Astrophysics in the Arab World. The society organizes the Arab Winter School for Astrophysics (AWSA), scientific meetings, and supports the popularization of Astronomy and other related activities.
